Reams Biological Theory of Ionization

Balance Your Health with Reams RBTI

“God is the basis of life, life is the basis of energy, energy is the basis of matter.”

Dr Carey Reams

Carey A. Reams (1903-1985). Trained in mathematics, biophysics, and biochemistry he made many discoveries in the fields of human health, plant growth, energetics, animal health, and soil restoration. According to Reams, “Ionization is God’s laws putting things together and taking them apart ion by ion.” According to Reams, RBTI offers a way to measure the energy in elements, compounds, and biological systems including humans. The loss of energy in humans is the beginning of disease. According to RBTI all dis-ease starts in the liver.

Dave Larson, a student of Reams and Skow, put it this way; “Biological Ionization is the study of how energy becomes matter and how matter becomes energy on a continuous basis.”

A person with devitalized health and one who is out of balance in any way (physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually) needs to discharge a lot of dead cells in order to bring the body into balance, this discharge will show in your urine and saliva well before it shows in your blood. The body works hard to maintain narrow ranges in your body’s chemistry. It will use the energy reserves and minerals to keep pH in balance, and when these reserves are depleted, the body will begin to breakdown itself to release energy and nutrients.

RBTI testing is a non-invasive seven-part test completed on fresh samples of urine and saliva. There are 6 tests done on a urine sample: sugars, pH, salts, cellular debris, nitrate nitrogen & ammonia nitrogen (great to telling me what kinds of proteins are not being digested.)

Reserve your energy in a few ways by living right (but what is “right” living?), getting enough rest, fresh air, sunshine, pure water, a balanced diet, a diet of vast variety, balanced emotions and faith. Never forget your spiritual side! After all, I like to believe, “We are a spiritual being having a human experience, not a human being having a spiritual experience.” For someone struggling with low reserves, you will have less room for “cheats”.

The Importance of Balanced Sugars or Carbohydrates

Feelings of well-being are related to the carbohydrate level.  Not only do the brain and the liver rely on carbohydrates in order to function properly but they also rely upon proper blood oxygen levels.

Blood oxygen levels are DIRECTLY affected by blood carbohydrate levels.  The urine carbohydrate number supplies information concerning:

  • Memory
  • energy levels
  • insulin levels
  • oxygen levels
  • alcohol levels
  • liver and pancreas function
  • mood swings
  • high or low sugars
  • need for sweeteners
  • body temperature indicators
  • motion sickness
  • dizziness
  • headaches

A refractometer is used for this analysis rather than a simple glucose test since the refractometer records all sugars:

  • glucose
  • fructose
  • galactose, etc.

The Importance of Balancing Urine & Saliva pH

Proper Calcium

Calcium is the substance that the human body uses to regulate the speed at which it functions.  Many bodily dysfunctions are associated with the pH of the body.  The urine pH gives a picture of the whole body, while the saliva pH gives a picture of the liver. Urine pH represents lower body digestion and provides information on the assimilation of nutrients in the small intestine, large intestine congestion, and reproductive health. Saliva pH represents upper digestion, providing information on carbohydrate breakdown, B12 and K2 deficiencies, HCl levels of the stomach, and upper digestion transit time. In an acid condition, the body functions too fast and in an alkaline condition the body functions too slowly. The pH of the urine and saliva supply information concerning:

  • Digestive speed (too fast too slow)
  • Cationic / Anionic dominance
  • Types of calcium needed
  • Fungal infection potential
  • Viral infection potential
  • Oxidation
  • Reduction
  • B12 deficiency potential
  • Tissue thickness
  • Liver strength

Cellular Conductivity

A conductivity meter is used to measure the “total” minerals in the body. This reading is used to determine whether the body has too many or too few electrolytes. Salts indicate the osmotic pressure and fluid balance within the body, sodium and potassium are electrolytes that have to stay in balance! This reading is used to determine whether the body has too many or too few electrolytes. Fat is a major source of minerals, and since conductivity is tied to mineral salts the relationship between fat and conductivity is inevitable. Dead cells, if not eliminated within 72 hours, the cells break down into 49 different types of salts.

Total salt numbers can help indicate:

  • Blood Cholesterol
  • Blood protein
  • Blood mineral ions
  • Sclerosis level – Atherosclerosis is the deposit of fatty protection in the vessel walls.

Fat/Salt Relationship

Mineral and trace minerals are stored in the fat of animals.  If the salt or conductivity reading is too high, there may be too much fat or cholesterol.  If the reading is too low, the body may be deficient in fat.  It is interesting to note that water breaks down fat and will help to reduce salt levels.

When conductivity increases, osmotic pressure increases in the body and the fluid balance is upset.  Fluid is forced into spaces inside of and/or outside of the cells, opposing the proper flow of energy.  This imbalance causes:

  • Edema
  • Glaucoma
  • High blood pressure
  • Uremia
  • and other conditions like headaches

High salt numbers rob us of potassium and proper calcium’s which increase the risk for the deterioration of the myelin sheath, joint stiffness, restless leg, and heart problems. Low salt numbers increase risk for heart weakness, decreased mental activity, decreased physical activity, liver dysfunction, adrenal imbalance and pituitary dysfunction. It is also important to note that urea can counteract this imbalance and reduce conductivity. Keeping an eye on this is foundationally important!

Importance of Albumin

Albumin is a protein produced by the liver that circulates in plasma (the clear liquid portion of your blood). A healthy person will have an exchange of cells, or loss of cells, equal to the gain in cells plus the friction loss from oxidation.  In rebuilding health, it is the goal to keep the cell debris count up to at least 4M so as to clear the body of debris. A person with devitalized health needs to discharge a lot of dead cells in order to bring the body into balance.  This reading addresses how well the body is cooperating in the heating process. The structures, tissues, organs, glands, and fluids of the body are constantly experiencing deterioration of the present cells and the generation of new cells. Low albumin levels might be the result of kidney disease, liver disease, inflammation or infections. High albumin levels are usually the result of dehydration or severe diarrhea.

The rate of cell exchange is indicated by the cellular debris number.  The body must maintain homeostasis, which means that for each dead cell, there must be a new cell of equal or better quality, or the body is experiencing a slow death.  Clear urine would be inappropriate for a toxic person who desperately needs to replace old, dead cells.  The cellular debris number gives us an indication that the body is trying to cleanse itself if the urine contains substantial amounts of debris. The amount of cellular debris found in the urine provides information concerning:

  • Kidney stress
  • Energy Loss
  • To what degree the body is cooperating with its own healing processes
  • The kinds of proteins that are not being digested.
  • Need for vitamin A, C & E (Vitamin E is helpful for aiding the kidneys as it intensifies the kidney’s capability for removing cell debris from the blood.)
  • Parasites can also be seen in the urine as well.

Golden Seal is a dilator of the kidneys and helps the tubules filter the blood as it passes through the kidneys.

Urea Index Importance

Urea’s are the byproducts of the metabolism of proteins and body tissues. The total urea numbers represent the total amount of unutilized protein that is being handled by the liver and sent to the kidneys for elimination. The nitrate nitrogen level will reflect the breakdown of animal proteins and the ammonia nitrogen level will reflect the vegetable protein assimilation.  When these numbers are added together, they make up the “Urea index”. These numbers can represent the energy being lost from the body. When uric acid remains in the body it becomes a soluble urea salt which will create the potential to increase blood viscosity (thickness). This can potentially increase risk for clots, strokes, and heart attacks because this makes the heart work harder to pump the blood. When these urea salts are high it also decreases the body’s ability to bring nutrients to the organs and remove waste properly from cells.

Potential cause of high urea’s is poor digestion, too much protein, insufficient minerals and nutrients. Symptoms of high urea can be:

  • Poor digestion
  • tired
  • thick blood
  • heart problems
  • elevated blood pressure
  • colon stress
  • Vitamin A deficiency
  • kidney stress
  • deep groves on the forehead
  • excess foam or bubbles in the urine
  • increased allergies and immune problems

Potential cause of low urea’s is insufficient protein, too much water intake, potassium deficiency, excessive magnesium. Symptoms of low urea can be:

  • Decreased brain function
  • Headaches in the back of the head
  • eye twitch
  • stiff neck
  • Thyroid deficiency
  • excessive weight

RBTI can be a very effective took to assess the internal terrain of the body and how it processes daily food intake. Balancing your body’s chemistry also helps me to know sooner what minerals, vitamins, and nutrition you need sooner before dis-ease sets in! This technique does not diagnose, cure, treat the body but simply balance the numbers. The body can perform amazing things when provided the correct nutrition, at the correct time. If you do not fix the “why” the problem will return, schedule with me today to determine the source of your stress and manage it together.
